March Node.js Meetup: Electron & ES6 Ghosts

We know you missed us! Although a bit late but March Nodejs Meetup is back, with 2 very interesting talks about Electron and ES6 Ghosts(wait what?).

It is time to gear up, face Electron straight to the eyes and learn how to build cross-platform desktop apps using HTML, JS and CSS. Oh yeah! There is a way. Along with Electron, there are some strange ES6 ghosts stories that our ghostbuster(Thodoris) will try to investigate. It is true! We have crossed the realm of reality. Supernatural tales of ES6 all the way.

Join us on Thursday 31st of March and you will find out what has been going on over the last month @Thessaloniki’s dark streets!

Building a desktop native application using Electron

The Electron framework lets you write cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. It is based on Node.js and Chromium and is used in the Atom editor. Thanasis Polichronakis will do his best to show you some Electron magic.

ES6 Ghosts

Strange and weird stories about missing classes, constructors, arrows and other scary things of the unknown. Thodoris Keloglou aka “The Ghostbuster”, will share with us all these supernatural tales that bring you goosebumps. (Bring any guardian amulet that you have @ your possession)
